Jonathan Kopp, formerly of SS+K and the Obama National Media Team, has been named lead digital services for public relations agency Ketchum.

In the newly created role of global director of Ketchum Digital, Kopp will oversee the firm's digital content shop, which handles Web design, audio and video production and graphic design and print media. He will also work with the Zocalo Group, Ketchum's word-of-mouth marketing unit.

As part of then-candidate Barack Obama's media team while at SS+K, Kopp helped develop a mix of digital and traditional communications to galvanize young voters. During his tenure at SS+K, Kopp worked with clients, including Anheuser-Busch, Polo Ralph Lauren, Time Warner Cable, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Before that, he practiced law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Washington and served as law clerk to the Office of Counsel to the President in the White House under President Bill Clinton.--Mark Walsh
