Verizon To Offer LG Versa Next Week

Verizon Wireless will begin offering a new LG Versa phone, which features a three-inch touchscreen and attachable QWERTY keypad next month. The phone, which also accommodates screen rotation and HTML Web browsing, will also come with the telecommunications company's V-cast music and video services. The phone will be available from Verizon beginning Sunday for $199, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
Separately, Verizon has partnered with the Jonas Brothers for the premiere of the Disney act's movie opening this weekend. Verizon is sponsoring an opening party in Dallas this weekend and an exclusive download of the Jonas Brothers song "Tonight" remixed by producer Timbaland.--Aaron Baar
