TiVo has added 17 more cable networks to its StopWatch ratings service, bringing its total of both broadcast and cable channels to 93. Some of the new cable nets are: Independent Film Channel,
Sundance Channel, NBA Network, NFL Network, Fox Movie Channel, HBO 2, Showtime 2 and BBC America, reports
Multichannel News. Sixteen of the networks are rated by StopWatch, but not Nielsen.
StopWatch provides extrapolated ratings, based on viewing data from a 100,000-household sample of TiVo users, for nationally run programs and ads for cable and broadcast networks from 5 a.m. to 11:30
p.m.
