Sinclair Broadcast Group Friday announced plans to air prime-time news special dubbed "A POW Story: Politics, Pressure and the Media," which focuses on the use of documentaries and other media to
influence voting. Sinclair said that contrary to published reports, it would not be airing the documentary "Stolen Honor," a documentary critical of Senator John Kerry's Vietnam War record, in its
entirety. Sinclair denied that it ever planned to air the documentary in its entirety, but planned to incorporate as part of its news special.
