FCC Commissioner Adelstein Nominated for Agriculture Post

Democratic FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein has been nominated by President Obama to head the Agriculture Department's Rural Utilities Service. The division has $2.5 billion in broadband stimulus grants to hand out. His likely successor to the Democratic seat is Mignon Clyburn, reports B&C. She is the daughter of House Majority Whip James Clyburn and a South Carolina public service commissioner.
