Blue Unveils Its First Branded Documentary

A clip of the first branded documentary by Paris-based advertainment agency Blue was shown at MIP TV in Cannes, France on Tuesday. The film is sponsored by Gucci, whose parent company PPR paid the lion's share of the documentary's $17 million budget.
,br> Called "Home," the film is made up of aerial shots of 50 countries. It aims to raise awareness of environmental issues. It was co-produced by 5-month-old Blue and Elzevir Films and was directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

EuropaCorp, which also is an investor in the documentary, plans a worldwide, theatrical, TV, Web and DVD release on June 5, World Environmental Day. Blue was founded by Christophe Lambert and producer/director Luc Besson.
