'PRWeek' Goes Monthly, Charges for Online

  • PRWeek, Thursday, April 16, 2009 10:15 AM

PRWeek is not changing its name, but the print publication will become a monthly starting June 1. The last weekly print issue will be the April 27 Agency Business report.

The magazine will also cease offering free online content and will offer a subscriber-only weekly online edition starting May 1. The online package, updated on Fridays, will be feature-driven, retaining popular elements of PRWeek's current weekly print offering, along with videos, blogs and other interactive material.

Compared to the weekly print magazine, the monthly PRWeek will contain more editorial content, deeper analysis and more interviews and features with professionals and companies in the industry. The publisher is also relaunching its daily newsletter, "PRWeek Breakfast Briefing" on May 1, which will be included in a subscription.
