NBC won the week in prime-time ratings, led by it’s Sunday telecast of the Golden Globe Awards which drew 22.5 million viewers, up 2% from last year. The network averaged 13.1 million viewers last week (8.9 rating, 14 share). ABC lagged behind with 12.2 million viewers (8.1, 13), CBS with 11.5 million viewers (8.2, 13), Fox with 10.8 million viewers (6.7, 10), UPN with 3.5 million (2.4, 4), the WB with 3.4 million (2.3, 3) and Pax TV with 1.3 million (0.9, 1).
NBC's “Nightly News” won the evening news ratings with an average of 11.7 million viewers (8.6 rating, 16 share). ABC's “World News Tonight” took second once again place with 10.3 million viewers (7.8, 14) and the “CBS Evening News” averaged 9.4 million viewers (7.1, 13).
The prime-time ratings from Nielsen Media Research for Jan. 15-21 were as follows:

10. “Friends,” NBC, 11.2, 11.5 million homes.
10. “Judging Amy,” CBS, 11.2, 11.4 million homes.
