Yahoo.com was the Media Metrix number one site for the week ending January 14 with 10,454,000 average daily unique visitors. It was followed by MSN.com (10,038,000), Passport.com (5,186,000), Hotmail.com (5,148,000), AOL.com (4,922,000), Netscape.com (2,964,000), iWon.com (2,442,000), Excite.com (2,396,000), GO.com (2,349,000), and eBay.com (2,332,000).
The number one gainer for the week ending January 14 was FedWorld.gov with a 98.2% change in average daily unique visitors from the previous week. It was followed by PCH.com (90.6%), JobsOnline.com (86.9%), TheBirthdayGame.com (86.0%), eOnline.com (81.3), YouWinIt.com (81.1%), CarPoint.com (79.5%), IRS.gov (74.4%), IBM.com (74.3%), and CA.gov (68.2%).
