ACNielsen VNU Merger Complete

The ACNielsen Corporation, a market research firm, announced that its merger with VNU N.V., a media and information company, has been completed. This creates a new leader in marketing and media information. ACNielsen joins a VNU family of companies that includes Nielsen Media Research, and will also have a majority interest in NetRatings, Inc., ACNielsen's partner in ACNielsen eRatings.com.
