TechCrunch Taps Contendo For Content Delivery

TechCrunch -- including the entire "Crunch Network" of sites -- has tapped content delivery network Cotendo to both improve its content delivery, and to provide its corporate users with real-time data on their site traffic and audience.

Founded in 2005, TechCrunch and its network of sites now reach 5.5 million unique visitors, and have more than 15 million page views per month.

TechCrunch operates TechCrunch Europe, TechCrunch France, and TechCrunch Japan as well as specialized industry websites including MobileCrunch, CrunchGear, and TechCrunchIT.

Founded in 2008, Cotendo is funded by Sequoia Capital and Benchmark Capital. The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley with R&D based in Israel. --Gavin O'Malley
