Taco Bell Chihuahua Dies

The Taco Bell mascot, Gidget, died on Tuesday at age 15, from a stroke.
The dog was best known for the Taco Bell ad campaign featuring the dubbed line "Yo Quiero Taco Bell." She also appeared in a commercial for Trivial Pursuit and in Legally Blonde 2, as the mother of the dog Bruiser.
People magazine described the dog as a "consummate pro" and quoted her trainer, Sue Chipperton, as noting that Gidget "always knew where the camera was." --Karlene Lukovitz
