NY Times Reports Increased March Traffic

The New York Times Company reported that for the month of March, year-over-year traffic increased at the two largest Web sites of New York Times Digital, its Internet division. The Internet traffic results for March 2001 versus March 2000 were as follows:
- Page views rose 92.1% at NYTimes.com and 54.9% at Boston.com.
- Sessions or visits grew 73.5% at NYTimes.com and 18.3% at Boston.com.
Both sites had a record-breaking month, with NYTimes.com reaching nearly 200 million page views and Boston.com reaching 72 million page views in March.
