Among properties which increased in Media Metrix' U.S. Top 50 Web and Digital Media properties rankings for October 2000 were CNET Networks Digital following its recent acquisition of ZDNet - up 62% from 11.5 million unique visitors in September 2000 to 18.7 million in October and Infospace Impressions following its recent acquisition of Go2Net - 145% from 7.4 million unique visitors in September 2000 to 18 million in October. CNET and Infospace now rank number nine and 10, respectively. Grab.com is a newcomer to the Media Metrix syndicated reports overall and broke into the Top 50 at number 47 with 6.2 million unique visitors. Colonize.com entered the Top 50 at number 41 with 6.9 million unique visitors. Its increase in unique visitors directly correlates with an increase in its online advertising - from 4.6 million impressions in September 2000 to 18 million in October, according to AdRelevance. Zmedia.com entered the Top 50 at number 43 with 6.5 million unique visitors. Zmedia.com's increase in unique visitors coincides with its marketing alliances with Joecartoon.com, Geocities.yahoo.com and Talkcity.com. The AOL Network - Proprietary & WWW was number one on the Media Metrix top 50 Digital Media/Web properties at home and work combined in the US for October with 61,540,000 impressions. It was followed by Yahoo! (56,535,000), Microsoft Sites (52,129,000), Lycos (30,967,000), Excite Network (30,274,000), Go Network (22,953,000), About The Human Internet (22,152,000), AltaVista Network (19,311,000), CNET Networks Digital (18,744,000), Infospace Impressions (18,029,000), Amazon (1,335,000), Time Warner Online (16,797,000), NBC Internet Sites (16,489,000), eBay (1,090,000), LookSmart (13,696,000), Real.com Network (13,011,000), Ask Jeeves (12,903,000), eUniverse Network (12,372,000), Viacom Online (12,274,000), Network Commerce Inc.
