  • September 30, 2009
WebVisible, which offers local online ad tools, has named NetZero co-founder Ronald Burr as its chief operating officer. He will be responsible for overseeing product development, engineering, IT, media and operations.

"Getting someone of Ron's caliber and background to help lead this company is incredibly exciting and speaks volumes to the quality of our technology platform and business model," said WebVisible CEO Kirsten Mangers in a statement.

In addition to starting Internet service provider NetZero, now a unit of United Online, Burr boasts eight patents related to online advertising and market research, and has developed technology for companies including IBM and Verizon.

Before joining Irvine, Calif.-based WebVisible, he was chief product officer for LRN, which makes software for governance, ethics and compliance management.

Webvisible is a complete Rip Off, great at talking the talk and promising great results but the company is a fraud.

Results and reports that were sent to us where falsified, encountered multiple ROI miscalculations. Cost per Click went up in every category they assisted us with. Continued to bill prepaid funds after the account was canceled. In regards to management we received many promised callbacks that took days to weeks to receive with no satisfactory outcome.

BEWARE of smooth talking salespeople. Results were terrible and a waste of $15,000.00 in just two weeks.
