SUPERSTITIALs Penetrate Majority

  • December 4, 2000
Unicast, the developer of the SUPERSTITIAL, announced today that the SUPERSTITIAL online advertising format has the potential to reach 62.9% of all active at-home users and 78.7% of all active at-work users in the U.S., based on data from Nielsen//NetRatings for the month of October. These percentages represent the unduplicated reach of the top websites that accept and sell the SUPERSTITIAL format as a rate card item of their standard advertising offerings. The sites represented by these percentages constitute only a sampling of the hundreds of sites and ad-serving networks worldwide that currently accept and sell SUPERSTITIAL advertising. "Unicast has built a critical mass of sites, portals, and ad servers that offers advertisers the potential to reach nearly two-thirds of all at-home online users and more than three-quarters of all at-work users via the SUPERSTITIAL," said Allie Shaw, VP Global Marketing, Unicast. "This will be of prime interest to the advertising community, especially as large traditional advertisers seek to grow their online presence in meaningful, cost-effective ways."
