Allen Retains Charter Control

Per a court ruling, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen retains control of cable company Charter Communications as part of the company's controversial reorganization plan, reports the New York Post. Allen convinced a bankruptcy judge to approve a plan in which Charter would pay senior lenders but at a lower-than-market interest rate. Charter had been languishing under a $22 billion debt load.
