Local market site Examiner.com is expanding to Canada Oct. 29. Examiner.com Canada will provide localized content -- breaking news to arts to sports -- to users in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Examiner.com Canada will also offer national content for residents not living in one of its five initial markets. Examiner.com Canada is actively recruiting Canadians passionate about their interests and areas of expertise, expecting to have over 100 active writers and photographers when the expansion launches. This is the first global foray for Examiner.com. Next year, it will launch in the U.K.

You forgot to note that this pub is extremely right of right. They do not consider those with liberal or conservative backgrounds. Check out who's the publisher if you can find it. Just like the Washington Post, owned by the Moonies, if you can find it.

Yeah, they launched one of these things in Denver. Nobody cared. It might still be there for all I know...
