The Radio Television Digital News Association today announced new category divisions for the 2010 Edward R. Murrow Awards and - for the first time is allowing submissions from exclusively online news
organizations in each of the categories. Audio and video will be judged in: Overall Excellence, Breaking News Coverage, Continuing Coverage, Writing, Hard News Reporting, Feature Reporting,
Investigative Reporting, News Documentary, News Series, Newscast, Use of Video/Sound, Sports Reporting, Broadcast Affiliated Web site and Non-Broadcast Affiliated Web site.
