The Media Edge, a division of WPP, Inc. and a global media company based in NYC specializing in the development and implementation of media communications campaigns -- received 2 Mediaweek Awards, and the Grand Prize of Overall Best Media Campaign at the Mediaweek Luncheon yesterday in NYC. The Media Edge won

1) The Best Campaign spending more then $25 million for its campaign for Census 2000.

2) The Best use of national TV and cable - for client H&R Block, for a one-week deal with ABC, "Tax-Free Week" on the show, "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire."

3) The overall Best Media Campaign - Census 2000
