Analyst: Verizon To Get iPhone In Q3 2010

Verizon Wireless is likely get the iPhone in the third quarter of 2010, according to Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster. That pairing has long been desired by many iPhone users frustrated by AT&T's inability to provide reliable service for the signature Apple device.

In an interview posted Wednesday on The Business Insider, Munster also said brand loyalty driven by applications would lead subscribers to stick with the iPhone in the future. He also estimates Apple sold 8.8 million iPhones in the last quarter of 2009. --Mark Walsh

    Why not BEFORE Q3 2010? The Apple contract with AT&T is up in March. Can't this happen sooner? What about T- Mobile where do they stand in the line to get the i-Phone
