HoundDog.com, a subsidiary of eLocity Networks Corporation, has announced the launch of their newly designed site introducing a pay-per-click search model. The bid approach allows advertisers to target users with a higher degree of specificity than other forms of advertising. If a web surfer does not click on the link, the advertiser pays nothing, thus advertisers only pay for performance. HoundDog.com also launched a new affiliate program in conjunction with the pay per click model, enabling webmasters to earn a percentage of all daily unique clicks made from keyword searches originated from search boxes placed on their site.
