Mobliss, a Seattle-based provider of wireless Internet marketing technology, has announced a partnership with 1-800 CONTACTS. The partnership represents a major advancement in wireless marketing by using entertainment to engage customers on wireless devices and allowing them to instantly connect to advertisers with one-click dialing. The partnership, in conjunction with Tribune Media Services (TMS), combines Mobliss' wireless platform for TMS' JUMBLE, their popular word game, with 1-800 CONTACTS wireless marketing campaigns. For the first time, wireless users playing JUMBLE are able to use click-to-call technology to quickly and directly connect to 1-800 CONTACTS to order contact lenses and refills.
