Borders' CEO Moves On

Just a week after posting disappointing holiday sales, Borders Group says CEO Ron Marshall will leave the company, effective immediately, and that he has accepted a CEO post at another publicly held retailer.
Michael J. Edwards, currently EVP/chief merchandising officer, will replace him as interim CEO while the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based company conducts a search for a permanent replacement.--Sarah Mahoney
