IHOP Benefits Children's Miracle Network

  • February 6, 2010
In celebration of National Pancake Day (Feb. 23), IHOP restaurants will offer each guest a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., and in return invite guests to make a donation to the Children's Miracle Network.

Donations will go to the nearest local hospital within the Children's Miracle Network in the area in which an IHOP is based.

IHOP's fund-raising goal for this year is $1.75 million. Last year, its National Pancake Day fund-raising program generated nearly $1.5 million for children's charities, and 2.5 million free pancakes were served. Since the annual event's inception in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $3.25 million and given away more than 6.1 million pancakes to support charities in the communities in which it operates.--Karlene Lukovitz
