HEADLINERS THIS WEEK:
OWEN MCCUMBER has been promoted to Media Planner at JWT Technology Communications Group in San Jose. He has been with the company for more than two years.
ANNE MURATA, former president of Murata Creative Advertising/Marketing of Honolulu has been named group publisher, Hawaiian Islands for Guest Informant.
TAMI PRINS has been named New England & Spirits manager for FHM Magazine. She will be responsible for both advertising categories for FHM and FHM Collections. Prins comes to FHM from Interview magazine.
MYLINDA STANGE has been appointed Director of Sales/Marketing for Services Strategic Media Research and Touch Marketing Services. Mylinda comes from ESPN Radio, where she was Sr. Account Executive.
CarroSELL, the New York-based media company that places advertising displays directly on airport baggage carrousels, appointed three new executives. The Senior VP of CarroSELL's airport operations team is now IRV TOSK. Tosk joins CarroSELL from his most recent position as Retail Manager at the JFK International Air Terminal. ANDREW SHAINBERG and ROYCE HUDSON have been hired to be an Airport Development team. Shainberg brings legal and government relations experience gained at The Prudential Insurance Company of America. Hudson was most recently with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Nomura Securities.
TRACY KELLEY has been named Director of Sales for Spectrum Media in Long Beach, CA. Tracy had previously been an Account Executive for Charter Communications also in Long Beach, CA.
LISA TOTINO has been promoted to VP, Chicago Office for Harp Interactive.
AMY J. MOLINERO has been named East Coast Sales Manager for Guideposts magazine. She most recently served as the Advertising Director of Working Woman.
TOBY RABBIN has joined the firm of Security Liability Consulting, L.L.C. Toby specializes in diversity, intercultural communication, and management and leadership.

The Townsend Agency announced the promotions of two of its executives, CYNTHIA SUBIDO, who has been with the agency since April of 2000, to Senior VP, and EMILE BARRIOS, from account supervisor to VP.
ERIC HOLLREISER has been named Senior VP, Media Relations for ABC Cable Networks Group. Most recently, Hollreiser served as VP of Tierney Communications, a Philadelphia-based advertising and public relations agency.
DAVID ANDELMAN, a veteran business reporter who has worked for The New York Times, CBS News, CNBC and Bloomberg News, has been named business editor at the New York Daily News.
MIKE OH has been promoted to Director of Creative Advertising for the Motion Picture Group of Paramount Pictures. Most recently Mr. Oh was an Executive Assistant/Advertising Coordinator in the Marketing department.
MATTHEW V. STORIN is retiring as editor of The Boston Globe and will be succeeded by MARTIN BARON, executive editor of The Miami Herald.
PAUL NKUNA has been upped from director at Primedia, to chairman of the board and the remuneration committee.
KATE RODLER has been named strategic sales director for Business 2.0 magazine. She last served as VP and associate publisher of the Western region for The Industry Standard.
IRA BERNSTEIN has been named president of Lions Gate Television Distribution. He had been president of Mercury Entertainment and prior to that at Rysher Entertainment.
PETER JOHANSEN has been named producer of CBS's "The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn." He has previously worked as a producer for numerous NBC shows.
MARTIN VON RUDEN has been promoted from senior VP and general manager to executive VP and general manager of the cable network Women's Entertainment.
SHIRLEY POWELL is taking a position as the head of all entertainment publicity for Turner Broadcasting after spending two years as senior VP of publicity at NBC.
BONNIE JOHNSON has been promoted from VP and chief of staff to executive VP of media products and services for video-on- demand programming company Intertainer.
TOM ZAPPALA has been named senior VP of programming at Viacom Television Stations Group. He's served as VP of programming for the Paramount Stations Group since April 1996.
DAVID FORGIONE has been named publisher of Primedia's Automobile magazine. He was last seen launching eCompany Now at CMGI, Inc.
