PRISCILLA PESCI has been appointed Senior VP - Marketing of MGM Worldwide Television Group, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Pesci comes to MGM Television from worldwide production and distribution company Impact Media, where she served as Senior VP, Worldwide Marketing, Strategic Planning and Special Projects.

MATTHEW WILSON, who rose from clerk to executive VP and associate publisher of the San Francisco Chronicle, has resigned to pursue other business and professional interests.

ValueClick Inc. announced a series of management changes designed to support its expansion and corporate development activities. DAVE YOVANNO is being named to the post of executive VP of sales and marketing. Previously, Yovanno was ValueClick's VP of sales. ELISE ARTHURS has been promoted from ValueClick's director of marketing to VP of worldwide marketing. JOHN ARDIS was promoted to VP of direct marketing and business development. Ardis has more than 12 years of direct marketing and database experience with direct marketing firm ChoicePoint Direct. ALLISON CORSON-MELLON has been named western sales director. Prior to joining ValueClick, Mellon held the position of VP of sales at Business.com.

The Hudson River Group has announced that ED DITTUS will be joining the company in the capacity of Executive Advisor. Dittus was the founder and former CEO and Chairman of Media Marketing Assessment (MMA/Carat).

KAREN LEVINE, formerly Director of Special Projects at NBC Television Networks, was named Director of Marketing for Lucky Magazine. REBECCA HANLEY, former Advertising Sales Manager at Allure, is now an account manager at Lucky.

CHICKIE BUCCO has been named President of the New York Women's Agenda (NYWA). Currently, Ms. Bucco is the VP, Director of Direct Marketing Sales for the Katz Television Group.

GEORGE RUSSELL has been appointed president of Time Canada. He will retain his current position as editor of the Canadian edition of Time magazine.

MICHAEL JACKSON has come aboard USA Entertainment as president and CEO. He had been the CEO at Britain's Channel Four Television.

LEO RAMOS has been appointed VP and general manager of WSNS- TV in Chicago, part of the Telemundo Communications Group. He had been general manager at KPXG-TV in Portland.

CARLA LOFFREDO, senior partner of strategic planning at Mindshare has been named chairman of the board of the Advertising Club of New York. She previously served as president of the board. BOB MATE takes over as president. He is the VP and publishing director of the Meredith Corporation. Joining him as senior VP is RENEE SIMONS, the senior vice president of marketing and communications at J.P. Morgan Chase. PAUL CAPPELLI and STEPHEN BLOCK become VPs. Cappelli is the founder and president of The Ad Store, while Block is a corporate VP at AT&T. RONALD FIERMAN assumes the role of treasurer. He works as the executive VP and managing director at Digital Pulp, Inc.

DAVID BENVENISTE, RISHAD TOBACCOWALA, BILL GROSS, STELIOS HAJI-IOANNOU, EMMA GILDING and BROWN WILLIAMS have been named "Marketing Innovators" by Time magazine. Benveniste is the head of Streetwise Concept & Culture. Tobaccowala is the executive VP of Starcom Mediavest Group in Chicago. Bill Gross is the founder and CEO of Internet Incubator Idealab. Stelios Haji-Ioannou started easyJet, easyCar and easyEverything. Emma Gilding is the founder and global director for Ogilvy & Mather's Discover Group in New York. Brown Williams is the co-founder of Princeton Video Image.

JOANNE KATSCH has been named manager of integrated marketing services and custom publishing for Reader's Digest. She had been business manager for the Reader's Digest special interest magazines.

JODIE ROSENTHAL has joined the Palisades Media Group as senior VP and broadcast director. She had last spent 11 years at Initiative Media.
