Monster Eats Europe!

Monster.com, the global online careers site and flagship brand of TMP Worldwide Inc., has announced that TMP Worldwide closed the acquisition of the issued and outstanding stock of Jobline International AB on July 23, 2001. The offer for Jobline International, a leading online recruitment service based in Sweden, has been accepted by shareholders owning approximately 98.41% of the company's capital. The completed Jobline acquisition bolsters Monster's total number of European sites to 14 and international sites to 21, with the addition of five new European countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, and Finland.
