The Boston Globe said today that on September 6 it will begin a weekday section for targeting of local news and advertising in Boston's southern suburbs with the publication of Globe South, a new,
stand-alone section that will appear every Thursday and Sunday in The Globe. The Globe's online edition at Boston.com will also inaugurate a Globe South section to complement the new edition.
