Interpublic Slimming Down

As reported in AdAge yesterday, Interpublic Group of Cos. said it will lay off an additional 3,500 staffers and close or merge more than 75 facilities. This news comes after second-quarter net income fell 42%. The job cuts follow the first-half staff reduction of 2,200 people at Interpublic.
