KITT WILLIAMS has been named Senior Vice President, Sales for Milesource. Williams formerly spearheaded the growth of Mypoints.com.

MIKE HAGGERTY has been named Senior Vice President, Managing Director of NYC-based MEDIA PLANNING. Most recently, he had served as Media Director at Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG in New York.

KAREN EDWARDS, Yahoo! VP of worldwide marketing, is leaving the company.

ADOLFO AGUILAR and GISELA GIRARD of San Antonio agency Creative Civilization, will chair the fall conference of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA) in New Orleans, September 6-9 at the Inter-Continental Hotel.

In its first official meeting since being elected last month, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Board of Directors has announced its new officers for the 2001 - 2002 term. SHELBY BONNIE, Chairman and CEO of CNET Networks, Inc., will serve as the IAB's Chairman; STEVE WADSWORTH, President of the Walt Disney Internet Group, will serve as Vice Chairman; DAVID MOORE, CEO of 24/7 Media will serve as Secretary/Treasurer; and IAB President & CEO ROBIN WEBSTER has been re-elected President.

DoubleClick Inc. announced that STEPHEN COLLINS, the company's Chief Financial Officer, will be stepping down from his position as of August 10, 2001. BRUCE DALZIEL, previously the company's VP of Finance and Operations for the Technology, Data & Research businesses, will become the Acting CFO.

ROBERT CLARK has been named Chief Operating Officer of The Deal, LLC, a diversified media company. Most recently, Clark led the sales and circulation consumer marketing team at The Publishing and Media Group.

DAVE HOWE has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative for SCI FI Channel. Prior to joining SCI FI, Howe spent 15 years at the BBC, most recently as Controller of Creative Services.

GREGG WARD has joined FreeSpark, an online marketer of membership clubs, as their Director of Strategic Partnerships. Most recently he had been hired to build the revenue channel for the email property of JobsOnline.

Traffic Pulse Networks (formerly Traffic.com) recently added media sales professionals to the central region. BETH CIARDULLO was named Regional Account Manager in the Chicago office. She was previously Sales Manger with Fox Television Sales in Chicago. DAN SMITH was made Regional Account Manager in Indianapolis. He was previously Sales Manager for the Minneapolis Star Tribune. ALEX PANHANS will take on the position of Regional Account Manager in the Dallas Office. Prior to his move to Traffic Pulse Networks, he was project manager for The Pony Express as an employee of Host Communication.

Wild Brain, Inc. has named two new executives to the company's management team - STEVE RAMIREZ has joined as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development and ANDREW STEINER will serve as Vice President of Sales. Ramirez joins Wild Brain from Collaborative Media, where he served as VP of Marketing. Steiner joins Wild Brain from MSH Entertainment, where he was served as President of Sales and Marketing.

BRIDGET O'CONNOR has joined Blue Diesel as the Director, Business Development/Retail. Before joining Blue Diesel, O'Connor served as the Senior Director of Sales for News Digital Media in New York. Also at Blue Diesel, ELENA KAMBITSI has joined on as Group Director, Strategic Marketing. Kambitsi had been an Executive Principal with Diamond Cluster Partners.

LISA CAPLAN GIRARD has moved from Regional Sales Manager, PAX TV Portland, OR to National Sales Manager at Action Sports Cable Network (ASCN) Portland, OR.

BRYSON SMITH has joined Bonus.com as their new Vice President of Advertising Sales. Smith had been Sr. Director of Advertising Sales for Excite@Home.

MIKE MURACO has left KASW-WB 61 Phoenix as Marketing Consultant to become Local Sales Manager of CableWest - representing Qwest Choice TV and CableAmerica; TOM DEUR, has been promoted to General Sales Manager of CableWest from Senior Account Executive; BILL HESS has left KKFR-92FM to be a Media Consultant at CableWest.

PETER ZEUSCHNER has been named national advertising sales manager of Discover magazine. He has been with publication since 1998.

MICHAEL PROVUS has been promoted to advertising director of Stuff magazine. He had been sales development director.

STACIE SEIFRIT has been named vice president of marketing and media at UPN. She had been the director of sales and marketing for Infinity Broadcasting's alternative radio station KROQ-FM in Los Angeles.

PATRICK O'CONNOR and SCOTT NESLUND have been elected senior vice presidents of Starcom MediaVest by its group board of directors. Neslund is the managing director of Starcom Canada while O'Connor has served as North America finance director for Starcom MediaVest Group for the past three years. Also at Starcom, KAREN COLEMAN and JACK SULLIVAN have been elected senior vice presidents of the Starcom North American management team. Coleman has been with Starcom for 16 years, and Sullivan is a director of the Out Of Home unit of Starcom.

PHILIP TAUBMAN has been appointed deputy editor of The New York Times. He is currently the assistant editorial page editor.

JON ANDRADE has been appointed advertising sales manager of Ser Padres magazine. He had been account manager at Parade.

ROBERT F. BRANDT will leave his post as vice president and managing editor at Newsday. ROBERT KEANE, who has been with the daily for almost 17 years, will replace him. Keane had been chief of staff.

The London-based editor of Forbes Global magazine, LAWRENCE "LAURY" MINARD, 51, died on a guided ascent of Mount Rainier. Park officials said a heart attack was the most likely cause.
