HEADLINERS THIS WEEK:
HEIDI BELLM joins CFM Direct in the newly created position of e-Director. Bellm's role at the multi-channel agency focuses on developing Internet marketing strategies that yield measurable results. Most recently she was employed as Interactive Art Director by IMC2.
STEVE LE NEVEU has been named to the newly created position of executive principal, director of account planning at Publicis. Le Neveu comes to Publicis from TBWA\Chiat\Day where he was managing partner and director of account planning.
ALAN SIMKOWSKI joins HOB Entertainment, Inc. as Vice President of Sponsorship for House of Blues Clubs and House of Blues Club Network. He had worked for the past nine years with Emmis Communications as Director of Big Hit Marketing and Director of Market Development for Q101 Radio in Chicago.

BOB TURNER has returned to Interep as President of D&R Radio, effective immediately. Earlier this year, Turner rejoined Interep from his position as President of Clear Channel Radio Sales, Clear Channel Communication's dedicated rep firm.
MELINDA FRYER has been appointed to the position of Marketing/New Business Director at ITE-USA, the American office of ITE Group, Plc a company which produces trade shows primarily in Russia and Eastern Europe.
SHERYL VICTOR has joined BaseSix's, client services group as a new Vice President, Marketing Director. Victor most recently served as Channel Marketing Manager for Intranets.com.
NKH&W, Inc., announced two promotions and five new hires. KAREN HAMILTON was promoted to Vice President, Director of Production Services. She has managed the agency's Print Production Department for more than 11 years. TRICIA STEPHENS was promoted to Senior Media Planner. She joined NKH&W two years ago as Media Planner. DORIS SALTKILL joined NKH&W as an Account Supervisor in account service. She most recently was Senior Tactical Specialist in Hoechst Marion Roussel's advertising department. LARA HAYWOOD joined NKH&W as Senior Account Executive. She has held account service positions at two other area agencies. JENNIFER APPLEYARD joined NKH&W as Production Manager. She most recently was project supervisor at a publishing firm. Staci Nicks joined NKH&W as Assistant Media Planner. She graduated from the University of Kansas this spring.
MICHAEL MYER has been named web/graphic designer for Long Advertising. He recently graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC.
KIM ZDZIERA has joined Oxford Communications, Inc. in Lambertville, NJ as a Media Planner/Buyer. Prior to joining Oxford, Ms. Zdziera worked as an Asst. Media Buyer at Tierney Communications in Philadelphia.
PETER OBERDORF has been hired as general manager of the Portland office of Michael Patrick Partners, a leading branding and identity consulting firm. Oberdorf has owned and operated a branding and design firm in Portland for the past five years.
JACK ESSIG has been promoted to national advertising director at Men's Journal. He joined the publication three years ago as sales development manager.
CHRISTINE OLDENBROOK has been named vice president of audience marketing for Primedia business magazines & media. She had worked for 101communications LLC as vice president of audience marketing since 1999.
GAIL DAY has been named publisher of Forbes FYI. She will supervise all aspects of advertising sales and marketing. Day was last seen as senior vice president and publisher of Playboy magazine.
DAVID C. ARPIN has joined the Magazine Publishers of America as senior vice president of research. He had been vice president of client services and product development for Mediamark Research Inc.
