GiantBear & Advertising.com Sign Wireless Advertising Agreement

GiantBear, a wireless application service provider, today announced an agreement with Advertising.com to extend wireless Internet advertising services to wireless carriers. The agreement will meld the Web-to-wireless expertise of GiantBear with the wireless ad serving, tracking and optimization technology of Advertising.com and will provide advertisers with a new vehicle for reaching consumers, company officials say. Compaq Computer Corporation, through advertising agency Foote, Cone & Belding, has contracted to be one of the first national advertisers to run a wireless Internet advertising campaign under the partnership.
