Valiente Suspends Publicaiton

Valiente Ltd. Has decided to temporarily suspend the publication of Valiente magazine, a Latino lifestyle monthly publication based in Plano, Texas. Valiente blames their temporary suspension on current economic conditions, and the events of September 11th, which resulted in a devastating effect in their advertisement funds. Advertising spending has been decreasing for several months and many in the industry are concerned about the possibility of further declines. Total advertising pages for November in U.S. magazines were down 11.2% from last year according to the Publishers Information Bureau.
