Sears is using its Kenmore brand to cook up a sweet social experience for soldiers, with Kenmore's Facebook page helping to send a quarter of a million cookies to deployed troops this season.
For every "like" the page gets, "Baking for the Troops" will send a dozen cookies with a personalized message. Once the total reaches 250,000, the Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based retailer will donate another $50,000 to its Heroes at Home Wish Registry , which assists needy military families in the U.S.
