The Sunday night NFL game and an animated sitcom about an undersea creature topped the Nielsen cable ratings for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 10. The game, between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets, scored a 6.2 rating for ESPN that was double the second-place Spongebob rating of 3.1 in the 9:30 a.m. Sunday slot on Nickelodeon. A 10 p.m. Tuesday airing of Real World XII gave MTV third place with a 3.0 rating. Two more showings of Spongebob were tied for fourth place, 9:30 a.m. Saturday (2.9) and 9 a.m. Sunday (2.9). The remainder of the top 10: WWE Entertainment Raw and Raw Zone on TNN (2.9 and 2.8), Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon (2.7), Triad SP: They Hated It special on TLC (2.7), Fairly Odd Parents (2.7), NFL Prime Time (2.6), Fairly Odd Parents (2.5), Sunday Evening Sports Center on ESPN (2.5), Dragon Ball Z on the Cartoon Network (2.5), and Jimmy Neutron on Nickelodeon (2.4). For pay cable, the top five programs were on HBO: The Sunday night showing of The Sopranos got a 6.0 rating, followed by Curb Your Enthusiasm (3.1), Shock Video Refried (2.2), Mind of the Married Man (2.2) and Black Knight (2.1). All were on the weekend.
