Nancy Daniels has been named executive vice president, production and development, Discovery Channel. Based in Los Angeles, Daniels will report to Clark Bunting. Since 2008, she has been SVP,
production and development for TLC, and has overseen the launch of "Cake Boss" and "Sister Wives."
