Bochco Plans Futuristic Cop Drama

A new TV series planned by Hill Street Blues creator Steven Bochco will combine the contemporary police drama with time travel. “NYPD 2069” follows the life of a New York City detective who is transported in 2003 66 years into the future. The pilot episode will be directed by “Hart’s War” director Gregory Hoblit. It’s produced by Steven Bochco Productions and Paramount Television Production for Fox Broadcasting.
