New Fox Reality Series Debuts Aug. 13

The Simple Life, a new reality series from Fox, will debut Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 8:30-8 p.m. It chronicles two affluent socialites as they make the transition from the big city to a small town. The series follows hotel heiress Paris Hilton and her best friend, Nicole Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie, as they leave behind their Los Angeles lifestyle to move in with a farm family in the tiny town of Altus, Arkansas. Mary-Elis Bunim and Jonathan Murray (The Real World, Road Rules) are executive producers of The Simple Life, a 20th Century Fox Television production in association with Bunim-Murray.
