Horizon Media announced the addition of Christi Cicerelli, to the newly created position of Vice President, Director of Local Broadcast, Los Angeles. Cicerelli, who joins Horizon from Starcom Worldwide, will be responsible for overseeing the West Coast's local television and radio buying group that, out of just the Los Angeles office, manages over $175 million in spot billings. She will report to Aaron Cohen, Horizon's EVP, Director of Broadcast and she will work in tandem with Lourdes Marques, Horizon's SVP, Director of Local Broadcast for the New York office. Cicerelli comes to Horizon from Starcom Worldwide in Los Angeles were she was Vice President, Spot Broadcast Media Director managing the local broadcast buying team for Buena Vista Pictures and Home Entertainment. Prior to joining Starcom Worldwide, she was Senior Vice President, Broadcast Director at Palisades Media in Los Angeles where she supervised the spot broadcast group for motion picture accounts like Miramax Pictures, Fox Searchlight and Paramount Classics.
