Daily paid circulation of the newest entry into New York City's newspaper market, The New York Sun, averaged 17,994 in its first 6 months of publication, the newspaper’s first audit disclosed. According to the newspaper its records show that unaudited average daily paid circulation has increased by 40% since then to more than 25,000 copies currently.
