White House Names Online Response Chief

Jesse Lee has a new post in the White House -- director of progressive media and online response. What that means, per The Huffington Post, is that Lee will aggressively counter any untrue stories about the president online, as Obama prepares for his 2012 re-election bid. In the past, rapid response was usually handled by the Democratic National Committee.
