Weather.com Breaks Monthly Unique User Record

Weather.com, the Web site of The Weather Channel, has set a new monthly user record and currently ranks as the 11th largest Web site on the Web. In September, weather.com delivered weather information to 22.4 million unique visitors , according to Nielsen//NetRatings. This tops the site's previous monthly record of 20.1 million, which was achieved in July. Not surprisingly, the site saw an increase in traffic in September as Hurricane Isabel raced toward the East Coast, contributing to the September record.
