McClatchy to Use Tacoda
Mar 25, 2003, 12:00 AM
Tacoda Systems, an enterprise software company that helps online publishers grow their advertising and transactional revenues by profiling and targeting the most valuable segments of their audiences, announced that Nando Media, the interactive media division of The McClatchy Company, has contracted to install its Audience Management Software (AMS) for their McClatchy affiliate sites. The first McClatchy sites to use the software will be Triangle.com and NewsObserver.com. AMS will be rolled out shortly to the remaining sites in the company's network of 22 local newspaper and community portal sites. AMS integrates and aggregates data from various web site underlying systems (such as content and ad servers, registration data, email lists, and transactional data) to create a comprehensive profile of site visitors. The system's unique ability to target specific high value consumer segments allow publishers and marketers to receive valuable ROI metrics regarding campaign effectiveness and relative marketing spend.
