eBay Launches Campaign Touting Mobile

  • September 15, 2011
According to a story in USA Today, eBay is launching its first big marketing campaign that focuses on the mobile marketplace. The company puts the value of goods sold through the site via mobile devices at about $2 billion. That sum could double this year.

The new campaign launches with television commercials aimed at the top three mobile shoppers at eBay: fashionistas, electronics junkies and auto parts and accessories fans. Running the next 11 weeks, the work will also include print, online and outdoor ads, as well as cinema ads. --Aaron Baar
