'Sports Illustrated' Doc Series To Run On HBO

Sports Illustrated is developing a five-part documetary series set to air on Time Warner corporate sibling HBO in 2013. "Sports in America" will "examine national character through the lens of sports," writes Lucia Moses.
The series will also spawn complementary magazine features, as well as social media features on HBO and SI websites.
