CellTrust Acquires RevMobile
Mobile messaging company CellTrust has acquired mobile marketing firm RevMobile in a move that will expand CellTrust’s capabilities into white-label marketing services. CellTrust currently is an SMS gateway for more than 800 carriers worldwide. It also provisions short codes and measures campaigns. RevMobile operates a white-label mobile marketing platform called VMarketer that lets ad agencies built email and text messaging campaigns.
CellTrust says the acquisition significantly expands its capabilities to include turnkey campaign management from planning to deployment on the front end and reporting on the back end. Both companies are located in Arizona, CellTrust in Scottsdale and RevMobile in Phoenix. RevMobile has also built mobile applications and Web sites, and has services in SEO strategy and consulting.
