Sportsline Adds Columnists
Mar 19, 2003, 12:00 AM
Through an arrangement with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Immersion Media, CBS SportsLine.com, published by SportsLine.com, will feature columns by four coaches who between them have led their teams to a total of 40 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship berths. The columns will be written by Kelvin Sampson, of Oklahoma, the number one seed in the East; Gene Keady, of Purdue, the number nine seed in the South; Mark Few, of Gonzaga, the number nine seed in West; and Mike Jarvis, coach of NIT-bound St. John's, who has led three different schools to a total of nine NCAA tournaments. Each of the coaches will provide a minimum of four columns leading up to and during the 2003 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship: a preview, a Sweet Sixteen entry, a Final Four piece, and a column on the Championship game.
