PC Magazine has launched an iPad app that will offer readers some 40 new articles, reviews and features each month free of advertising. The April issue is available for $3.99 and consumers can also choose two subscription options: monthly at $1.99 or annually at $19.99. Since ceasing print publication of PC Magazine in 2008, the title has rolled out digital editions for the Zinio personalized reader, the Nook, Kindle and Sony Reader. Publisher Ziff Davis says PC Magazine now has over 50,000 paid circulation in digital formats. With the release of the iPad app, it has also redesigned the magazine’s other digital editions.
