eBay Names Marcus President, PayPal

Mobile technology entrepreneur David Marcus was named president of eBay's PayPal unit, reports Reuters, replacing Scott Thompson, who
left early in the year to become chief executive of Yahoo. Marcus came to PayPal last year when eBay acquired Zong, a mobile payments company he founded. Marcus had
been PayPal's vice president of mobile. He said he will adhere to the strategy Thompson set.
